What to do during the holidays In SLC

Neumont University

Salt Lake City knows how to holiday. With light shows, Christmas carol sing-alongs, Santa sightings, and special dance performances, there’s plenty to do to get you in the holiday spirit after a tough week of finals. Our students have already ice skated at Gallivan Plaza and strolled downtown to see the holiday lights, so we listed a few more of our favorite local traditions below.

What: ZooLights!

Where: Utah’s Hogle Zoo

When: Evenings until December 31, 2015

Tickets are $7. ZooLights! returns to Hogle Zoo every holiday season, with more than 250 animated light displays. Grab your hologram glasses to walk along lit pathways and through our popular 135-foot lighted tunnel – it’s a crowd favorite!  Get up close with a polar bear, grizzlies, seals, and sea lions in the heated underwater viewing building in Rocky Shores.

What: Wassail & Waffles
